March 4th – March 8th is BIM Week 2013
Toronto, ON (Feb 25th, 2013) – Allied Technical Services (ATS) is excited to announce that March 4th to March 8th is BIM Week.
“BIM has transformed the design industry in so many ways. What better way to raise awareness of the many convenient tools and services that ATS’ Services has to offer, than by dedicating a week to educate our users and other industry professionals about BIM,” says Bill Petro, President of Allied Technical Services.
Revit MEP software is the building information modeling (BIM) solution for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers, providing tools for building system designs and analysis.
It helps minimize building design coordination errors. Its built-in tools for analysis provide engineers with the ability to make better informed decisions for building design.
From a product specification perspective, once nested families are created, engineers, architects, and designers will be able to incorporate them into their drawings accompanied by families’ properties.
ATS assists engineers, architects, and designers to advance and improve their drawings and overall coordination in project management. ATS provides free, easy access to families, saving time and increasing accuracy within the design process.
This year, ATS will be offering a free podcast on the “Best Practices of Revit Content Creation”, along with a BIM whitepaper, available for download. Revit users are encouraged to interact with ATS and share their experiences with BIM on social media, by following ATS’ Twitter handle @ATSSpec, and on LinkedIn.
