Produits de drainage (en anglais seulement)
Specifying Drainage Specialties
Working with ATS to specify drains is a simple process.
Step 1: Adding the Product
Begin by selecting the project you want to work on. Once opened, click on the “Add products by” drop down menu and select “Plumbing Equipment and Drainage Specialties”.
From here, you will be greeted with a wide range of products offered by ATS Spec, including drainage and other mechanical products. For this tutorial, we will be walking through how to specify drainage products, so we will select “Drainage Specialty”.
There are even more options, this time for the different types of drainage products, and applications. For this particular example, we will be specifying a floor drain, but most products should have a similar specification process.
Step 2: Specifying the product
You can begin by browsing through the options, however this may be time consuming. On the left hand side bar, you can search for a product name or number, or if you don’t know the specific product, you can use product specific filters to narrow your search.
Once you’ve found the product you would like to specify, you can click “Show Options” to further configure the product to your exact needs.
All products will have their own product specific settings. In this case, we can select the body material, the outlet connection and size, as well as a few additional options. Changing any of these settings will automatically update the model number and per unit price. Once you’ve finished configuring the product, you can click “Select” to finalize the selection, or “Reset”, to reset the product to its defaults.
After you’ve selected your product, ATS Spec may suggest compatible products to ensure you’re packing a full product combination. This is true of a floor drain, but is not necessarily true of all products. You can further configure the product by selecting “Show Options” like before.
Once you’ve selected all products, ATS Spec will ask you to label your drawing and give it a sequence number. This is entirely optional, however it does help you sort and organize your products when you print later and download formats like Schedules and, Revit Families.
Step 3: Finalizing your Download
After your drawing is labeled, ATS Spec will show you the drawing for the products you just selected. Simply review the products. “Save and Continue” will allow you to return to the “Products” page and this is where you can specify more products. “Save and Download” will allow you to download your specification. If you’ve made a mistake, just click “Edit Products” to return to the product editing stage in Step 2.
